Port53 was founded in 2016 in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Armed with determination, technical knowhow and a garage office, we set out on a mission to simplify cybersecurity and stop bad actors. In the last nine years, we've graduated from the garage to the Empire State Building and have made our vision a reality. Port53's consulting and services enables organizations to make strategic calls on their cyber strategy, and can rely on our team to help get it done.
Account Manager
I’ve been with Port53 for over four years. As an Account Manager I work with our existing clients to strengthen their security profiles. I love working with my clients to help solve problems and stay secure in an ever-changing tech landscape. Outside of work, I love the outdoors-originally from Montana, I now live in California, where I enjoy hiking, camping, and staying active. I also have a 6 month old cat named Ziggy who is super cute and funny.

I'm passionate about helping clients enhance and evolve their security tools while cultivating long-term, trust-based relationships. I thrive on understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering tailored solutions that foster lasting partnerships. Having called New York City home for the past three years, I enjoy exploring the city’s vibrant food scene, discovering new restaurants, and taking long walks through its eclectic neighborhoods.

I bring to Port53 and its clients over a decade of experience leading sales teams and helping them solve customer challenges. My team and I are focused on earning trust through listening and providing value through subject matter expertise. As essential as Cybersecurity products and services have become, the industry itself can be challenging to navigate. I work everyday to earn the right to be a trusted consultant that can cut through the noise and align your security with business outcomes.
Senior Account Manager
Six years ago I started my Port53 journey and worked my way onto our Customer Success team helping our clients to optimize their solutions. Today, as our Lead Customer Success Manager, I am passionate about working with clients to help them strategically build out their security roadmaps and decide if our Managed XDR Program is a fit for them. My experience here has been a key element in my professional development & personal refinement journey-values that are very important to me.

Senior Renewals Manager
I’ve been with Port53 for three years, and during that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with our current customer base. Most recently, I’ve enjoyed growing our Renewals team, which has been incredibly rewarding and enabled me to work more long term with our customers on their cyber strategy. Outside of work, you can find me running in central park.
Security Account Executive
I take pride in working closely with each client to create customized solutions that enhance their cybersecurity resilience, ensuring they feel secure and supported. Our hands-on approach is all about equipping clients with the right tools and expertise to confidently navigate their security challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, working out, and catching the Premier League on Sunday mornings.
Security Account Executive
I've loved my time with Port53, engaging with clients and understanding their journeys in cyber security. Engaging new people every day gave me the great opportunity to transfer my curiosity to my role as a Security Account Executive. When I'm not engaging with my clientele, you can find me in the gym with my friends.

I've been with Port53 for six years. Starting on the product sales side of the house, I now lead the Go-to-Market strategy and sales execution for the Port53 Managed Services portfolio. My technical acumen and passion for working with clients has enabled me help Port53 scale rapidly through customer and partner interactions. Outside the office, I'm an avid skier, loud (but very amateur) guitarist, and part time semi-pro soccer player.

During my time at Port53, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most experienced and passionate cybersecurity professionals in the industry. With their help, I have been able to hone my skills to best support SMB’s in our space by helping them leverage technology and solve business challenges, while enhancing overall operational efficiency. When I am outside the office, I enjoy playing recreational sports and spending time with friends and family.
VP of Cyber Services
Bill’s career has prepared him to lead the Services Team for a high growth startup. For the past 16 years he has been bringing innovative managed cyber security solutions to market-creating the solution, building the team and fueling sales. His DNA was defined by 17 years at Accenture. Prior to joining Port53, Bill established and lead the next generation managed security practice (NextGen SOC) at Optiv.
Director of Technical Operations
Eric is a Cyber Security and IT infrastructure professional with over 30 years of experience. He has expertise in several verticals including healthcare, legal, and government. In his current role at Port53 he and his team are responsible for delivering the managed services offered by Port53, including our flagship Security Operations Center as a Service. He has a Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci from Iowa State, Masters in Systems Management from Notre Dame da Namur, and maintains CCNP Security, CISSP, and CISM certifications.
Solutions Engineer
Proper planning, implementation, and optimization of security solutions is a number one priority for James. He has been a part of the Port53 team for three years and has a solid background in general IT. He work closely with our clients to meet their technical security needs, keeping in mind the restraints of time and resources. Outside the office you’ll find him at the beach or reading about history at the museum.
County Director - India
Karthik is an accomplished executive with 15 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity. As the Country Director for India Karthik oversees service delivery and business operations, ensuring operational excellence and strategic growth.Karthik holds an MBA in Project Management and is a certified PMP, CISM, GRC, CSM, and ITIL professional. Beyond the boardroom, Karthik is a passionate motorcycle enthusiast.
